“Xbox One is just doing what Steam already does”
Wrong
Steam
- Can log onto any computer
- Does not force a camera on your face
Xbox One
- Set to an IP address so you could not take your Xbox One with you anywhere
- Forces a camera to be on you
I’d really like to know your source on the IP address thing considering Microsoft stated you can go to a friend’s house and load up any game from the cloud. (Ctrl+F ‘no discs’) And the networking requirements say nothing about assigning a console to a specific IP. I’m pretty sure the country’s leading OS publisher is well aware that such an implementation would be disastrous to a large portion of the users that don’t realize that they can have multiple IP’s in a single household.
Also, I’m not sure if you saw it, but I edited that last reblog when I did find the source where Microsoft stated you CAN turn the Kinect off completely. Turning it off just voids you out of the cool features it brings with it, and it will probably void you out of playing certain games.

this is so illegal. we’re going to get in so much trouble. you cant just steal all the sand from the beach and replace it with bread crumbs
But if we don’t, what was the point in getting world edit?
Potion Making
So I’m starting it now. I don’t have any pets or extra characters on this servr to mule for me so my inventory is all bloated with base herbs (21 of them so I can’t make a new patch at my homestead).
So I’m not running Ciar again until I make some potions. Thing is my success rate is abysmally low because I’m trying to get that first successful potion for novice -> F. I went to my titles to equip some luck titles because my Int is already like 250, and I forgot the second title that could potentially give me another +30 luck. Now I can’t change my title, but I only have 5 bloody herbs to work with here.
What am I gonna do? Play some Feed The Beast for a bit, then come back and change my title again.

guys if you’re trying to make money on mabi i really recommend collecting fomor scrolls and then turning them in for money. it might seem dumb at first but once you get a collection going like so,

they just start stacking up and then oh, you have ten. and then you have another stack of ten, and you make good money just by collecting them so yeah.
TIP OF THE DAY
^ This. And with the update that allows free users to use the entire bank, it’s plausible for free users to have a large collection like I build up.
Another recommendation FOR this tip: Sort them somehow. By color, alphabetically, by the difficulty/rarity of the monster, or by the order the quest scrolls appear in the shop window. If you have them sorted in a way you can remember, it makes this money-making method a LOT less time consuming.
cesarin said: message to joyfullydeadly: as far I know, to shut the kinetic off, you have to shutdfown the xbox unit completely.
You didn’t even wait for my source <-<

I might want a Xbox One now but they did not address the Kinect.
They addressed the Kinect a while ago. You can change the settings to turn it off completely, but a bunch of features and games will be dependent on it.
And they addressed privacy in the same statement: The Kinect does not send any information about you. At most the XBox itself may send game data (character data, save file, etc) to a server or the cloud for game-specific features
Also, this is a huge step back, but I’m already repeating myself with the first two paragraphs, and the DRM ramble is a long one. Suffice it to say: I really hope they just removed the online component of DRM rather than removing DRM entirely. Removing DRM entirely will put me back on only wanting to land in PC or MMO gaming.
I’ll probably have a link for you about the Kinect stuff in a minute. I’ll just edit this post when I find it.
